I spent my whole birthday a few weeks ago hiding in a recording studio. Why? Sort of one part denial of aging, one part creative indulgence. The plan was to improvise/create a whole album. I achieved that goal, more or less. Everything herein was conceived, composed, performed and recorded within 10 hours on that date, including microphone placement and getting sounds. I do this sort of thing often by myself so it was definitely a pleasure to have somebody else dealing with gear and offering focus so I could just think and do (thanks, John!). I don't feel like I came up with anything earth shattering or insightful, but you still might enjoy some or all of it - here it is as a free gift to you. Pictures of my naked brain.

Disclaimer: Please note these are pretty much all first takes. Okay maybe a few second takes. Some people like it raw. And these particular mixes are a little rushed - I just wanted to get something on line for public consumption before this all grew stale. YMMV.
