Grant dark zolo jams (with fetching polarity) by a Bay Area prog legend Favorite track: Pointless Discussions (Parts I, II, and III).

Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) Matt Lebofsky strikes again! This unique one-man music machine, enfant terrible of rock, master of the unexpected, and probably best known for his ingenious contributions to Wally Scharold's "miRthkon" project, confronts us with another highly unconventional recording full of surprises. It wasn't easy to pick a favorite track, because there are multiple candidates. In the end I chose the not-exactly-but-somewhat-close-to-title track because of its brutally thundering bass guitar. Boost the volume to max and listen - at your own risk! Favorite track: I Fail to Bury a Car in the Dry Creek Bed.

Kitchener 02:15
I bet a million dollars Beneath your starchy collars A little demon hollers, "Let's go north" You think you have the answers These smart ass necromancers But watch your clumsy dances charging forth I guess I'm an insider Who drank the maple cider I must be impolite and snuff your torch Because I saw them Because I heard them Because I know them Because I've been to... Kitchener I'm watching how you lobby For a new hockey hobby And crave to eat a blobby donut hole I get the anxious leaning You long to find some meaning As this bus is careening toward the pole But make sure your perspecitve Is not built on invective This border still reflects the darkest soul Because I saw them Because I heard them Because I know them Because I've been to... Kitchener Kitchener!

I am walking on a favorite path Oaks or houses hiding everything Counting paces and making up songs Memories triggered by familiarity It's what I like but it's not a hike Not clearing my head but feeding it instead I am stalking on a favorite path I've been before - oh yes I have But nobody knows about the treasure map And I'll never reveal the mysterious x It's what I like but it's not a hike Not clearing my head but feeding it instead

You might never be a hero When all you have's that rusty knife It could all amount to zero At the end of your short life There's a puddle in the valley That once used to be a lake You emerge from that dark alley All the buildings seem so fake Mountains rise... Mountains rise... Mountains rise... Mountains rise...

Press me - pack down Whisper or make no sound Pressure building Creatures arrive in town Fester imposters Preachers without a god Minions jeering We all live for one more fraud

Grey Animals 01:59
This house could be improved Like trim some trees, replace the roof And maybe get it exorcised Remove the ghosts behind my blurry eyes I welcome critters in my yard I eat the fruits that they discard I watch the people on the tube But why must they behave so goddamn rude? Sometimes I turn the captions on Relax with all the voices gone Sometimes I keep the door ajar When I leave and walk done to the bar I hope this stupid world works out But you can get why I have doubt

Wait Up 02:48
Soon we'll be back home together Returning to our funny ways But until then I will remember Because you've still two weeks to stay About a thousand miles away I don't have to mope around all day Don't freak out or crash on the floor Don't wait up for me Soon we're on the road together Driving west into the sun It seems the twilight lasts forever And I don't care you're having fun Even though you're only one Because when we're two a new day has begun Don't freak out or crash on the floor Don't wait up for me Don't freak out or crash on the floor Don't wait up for me It's fine you'll see... Don't wait up for me
